In response to these global challenges, the Restar Group guided by its management philosophy, “We help society evolve by leveraging information and technology to create and deliver new value and services.,” has established a Vision to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society as an “Electronics Value Platformer”.
From a management perspective, we have established a Sustainability Committee with the participation of senior management. This committee promotes concrete initiatives, including the identification of material issues and responses in line with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
On the business front, the Restar Group promotes initiatives that contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. Through our Eco-solution Business, such as solar power generation and fully enclosed plant factories, we aim to expand the adoption of renewable energy that contributes to decarbonization and to help address food security issues from an electronics perspective. In addition, through solutions utilizing IoT and AI, as well as ICT in the electronic devices field, we are working to build a smart society, promote regional revitalization, and improve people’s quality of life.
