Profile

Born in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture in 1964. Graduate of Nippon Sport Science University. Served as the head coach of the wrestling club at Mie Prefectural Inabe Sogo Gakuen High School, where he developed numerous athletes at the national level. He subsequently worked as a coach for the Nippon Sport Science University wrestling team, and currently serves as the head coach of Resta wrestling team. He is also well known as the coach who guided his daughter, Akari Fujinami, onto the world stage, and drawing on the coaching experience and passion he has cultivated over many years, he continues to devote his efforts to improving athletic performance and nurturing human talent through wrestling.
